SERVICE SUSPENDED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT UNTIL
We are following current government advice regarding self isolation and therefore we are unable to maintain the volunteer driver rota required to guarantee the service.
We will make every effort to re-start the Hopper as soon as we are able, but can’t estimate at present when this is likely to be. In the meantime we will liaise with the local council to investigate how we might use our resources to assist the community during this period of service disruption. Please check back here regularly for updates.
Thank you to all our passengers for your support and we look forward to driving you in the future once this crisis is over.
The Harpenden Hopper Service operates 5 days a week when in service
Please check out our current timetable here
The current route includes Southdown, Eastmoor Park, and West Common Way as well as a much faster route into town from Kinsbourne Green
NEW REVISED ROUTE - map can be found here
When back in service the service operates Monday - Friday from 9.25am to 4.50pm
Anyone can use the bus which costs just £2.00 for an adult single journey.
(Children under 16 - £1.00).
Senior bus passes and concessions will be accepted.
The service is a ‘Hail and Ride’ service, so simply hold out your hand along the route to alert the driver and the bus will stop. Once on the bus, tell our driver where you want to get off and he or she will drop you at the closest safe place
